Time for Decorations!

I love this time of the year. I love pulling out all the Christmas decor and turning our apartment into a winter wonderland!! Haha, well, not really a winter wonderland but it sure looks a lot prettier than it normally does. This year Owen was a little older and could actually decorate all by himself! After about 3 ornaments, he was done. I guess decorating the tree isn't that exciting for him....yet. I know he'll be excited one day. :) Our cat loves decorating...well, the boxes that is.

After we got the inside finished, it was time for the outside. We put lights on our window, balcony and a wreath on our front door! I made the wreath myself, just bought the wreath for $2 and used my own ornaments. I think everything looked pretty nice after we were done.

About a week after we decorated, I had craft time with Owen. I try to make the holiday season fun for him. This year we decided to make a paper plate snowman! haha. We used 3 paper plate, cotton balls and glue. After everything dried, I attached the face, nose, hat and scarf and hung him up! Owen was pretty proud of his work. Everyone who came over, he had to show them his snowman. :)

I think everything turned out pretty good. My favorite thing to do is wait for it to get dark, turn off all the lights and turn on all the Christmas lights and just relax on the couch. Owen and I do this when Sean is working, we usually watch a Christmas movie too! Another one of my favorite things is my favorite ornament...Micki!!
