Valentine's Day 2009

This Valentine's Day was so nice. (It sure was a lot different from last year's Valentine's Day, that's when I found out I was pregnant! Lol.) Anyway, when I woke up on Saturday, Sean gave me a box of chocolates and a chocolate rose. He then informed me that another gift would be arriving in the mail. After Sean left for work, Owen and I went about our day just cleaning and playing and sleeping (well, he slept). Then there was a knock at the door...FLOWERS! They were beautiful...a dozen red roses. Then, about 2 hours later, another knock...MORE FLOWERS! Another dozen roses came, with a box of chocolates! I called him and thanked him. He actually only ordered one bouquet, but the order was messed up and they told him they would fix the order for him...so I ended up getting two dozen roses for the price of one!! :) Later that afternoon, I took Owen to my mom's house. Her Valentine's Day gift to us was watching Owen until Sunday so we could have some time to ourselves. It was hard leaving him, I love my son so much and when he's not with me I feel like apart of me is missing too. But I said good-bye and went home to get things ready for our Valentine's Day!!! Since Sean was at work all day I decided to clean and decorate so that he could come home and relax and of course have a romantic evening. So I cut out hearts and taped them all over the walls and lit a bunch of candles and decorated the table. When he got home we made homemade pizzas and made them in the shape of hearts! It was really fun (and romantic). When we exchanged our gifts, I think we were both surprised and excited for what we got. I got him his favorite Disney movie, Hercules and a box of Reeses' cups. He got me a diamond necklace!! It's the Journey necklace from Zales. I was so surprised! After our evening was over, we went to bed and slept...the whole night!! We were even late waking up the next morning since we didn't have Owen there. Lol.
