December 2010!!

Ok, so I need to update everyone on what's been going on in the Mattson household. Christmas was a success! Owen made out like a bandit and we want to thank everyone to made this year so wonderful for us. We are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends. Here's a few pictures.

Also in December we went to Dudetown Christmas again. Dudetown is the name of Sean's group of best friends, they are some of the nicest and most genuine people I know. I love when we are all together. And Owen sure did too, he was the life of the party...well, our nerf gun was. :) Here are a few pictures from that.

And finally, December was an exciting month for two of our family members....Julie and Chris!! My brother Chris graduated film school in LA on December 20th! We were unfortunately unable to attend, but my mom went down and saw the whole thing. I'm so proud of him. Now everyone keep him in your prayers that he gets a job soon!! As for Julie, she graduated Nursing School on December 17th!! Yay! We did go to her graduation and party. I am so proud of her, that is a huge accomplishment. Now, we need to keep her in our prayers too that she finds a job soon. But congrats to both of them on their achievements. What an exciting time in their lives. Here are a few pictures from Julie's graduation.

As you can see from the pictures, family came out for the event! Sean's parents and sister were here to support Julie. So not only did we have a great time at the graduation and party, but we also had a great visit. Here are a few pictures from that. We love and miss them so much!

Rod tried to exclude himself from all the pictures, but I got one!
December was a wonderful month. Sean and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on December 16th! We just went to dinner but he has a trip planned for later in the year! Sean and I also attended his department's Christmas dinner, which was a lot of fun. We are so grateful for the year of 2010 and all the blessings we have seen. We may still have struggles and hardships, but how blessed are we that Sean was able to find a job in this economy. I see the Lord's work in my life everyday, and everyday I look around and try to make sure that I have done something good or that I at least have the good, grateful feeling that I know I should.
