Mark Your Calendars!

May will be potty training month for Owen! I'm so excited to start and conquer this. We bought a huge pack of diapers and I'm hoping that it's the last pack we will have to buy! A friend of mine gave me a 3-Day potty training guidebook, so I'm hoping that it really works and we will have this little guy out of diapers in no time.  I think Owen will have a rough time at first, but once he discovers how wonderful it is to be so independent I know he's going to love it! This month I'm going to work on talking to him about how much of a big boy he is and also keep referring to his diapers as "yucky".  I think that he's ready because he wants his diaper changed as soon as he goes to the bathroom and sometimes he doesn't even want it back on because he doesn't like the cushion in between his legs. We are also going to go to the store and let him pick out all his new undies and his potty seats.  We need two because we have a bathroom upstairs and downstairs now. We have a potty but he doesnt' seem to fit on it correctly, so this time I'm going to let him sit on the potties and make sure it's a good fit for him.  I still can't believe that he's 2 1/2! He'll be exactly 30 months on Wednesday the 13th. My little man is just getting so big so fast. I love him more than anything. He's so much fun and so sweet and brings so much joy into my life. I know Sean feels the same. Him and Owen are the cutest together. I just love my family so much!
