Zoo Trip! (7/9/2011)

We went to the zoo with my mom and had a blast!!  We got there right after they opened so all the animals were awake and very loud/lively.  Owen was so thrilled that he could see everything!  He especially wanted to see the monkeys but the chimps weren't so lively.  They apparently had a little fight yesterday and one of my chimps got an owie on his foot (another chimp bit off his toe) so he had to go to the hospital to have it fixed.  The cool thing was that hospital was on site so we went and saw some of the surgery!! Owen was so amazed and concerned for his little monkey friend. It was really cute.  Overall the day was great. We rode the train, saw almost every single animal there (a few were off site) and ate lots of goodies!  Here are some of the pictures we took:

We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back. Next summer we're getting season passes so we don't have to pay every time and we will also get discounts inside on stuff too.
