Spiderman sighting at the park!

I took Owen to the park last night since the weather was absolutely beautiful and I didn't have anything necessary to do at home.  He had so much fun.  When we first arrived I was a little nervous about the amount of older kids there with no adult supervision (ages 6-11).  But they were nice and didn't get in anyone's way and just played their games.  Anyway, Owen started out running around like crazy...he was just so excited to be there. Then he wanted to go on the slides and then the swing.  He is so funny when he's swinging, he will literally say, "Weeeeee!" the entire time he's on it. Haha. It cracks me up.  After that he decided to go over to the spiderweb-ball, jungle gym, rope thing that they have.  Usually she just climbs up one or two ropes and then bounces for a little bit.  But the big kids were on it and he was watching their every move.  Next thing I know it, Owen is trying his little heart out to make it up the ropes.  It was really cute watching him.  He would get really frustrated when he couldn't do one, but then he'd look up at the big kids and keep trying. Eventually he got higher than me! At that point I put down the camera and stood under him because I was a nervous wreck watching my baby do this! He was a little spider man! He was so happy and proud of himself.  The only problem was, he had no idea how to get down. Haha. I of course helped him, but he was ecstatic. It just showed me how big my little man is getting.  I can't believe he's going to be three years old in only 3 1/2 months!!  Time really does go by fast, but every minute has been so wonderful.  Here are a few pictures from when he started climbing...I don't have any from when he go higher because I was freaking out and getting ready to catch him if he fell. :)

Before we left the park we took a little break.  Owen is now at an age where he enjoys picture taking moments.  So here are a few pictures of me and Owen smiling and making faces for the camera. Haha, I just love my little-big man so much. :-)
