Park Fun! (8/7/10)

We had a really fun day at the park recently. We actually went to two different parks that day and Owen was having a blast! Since Sean will be starting night shifts over the weekends in a few weeks, we're trying to have a lot of family time before our Saturdays with him are over. He'll be on night shift for a few months. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the first park we went to, this is our usual park and Owen just loves the swings!He decided to come sit with me on the bench. I recently started letting him roam free and explore without me so close. He's been really proud of everything he does since he's doing it on his own. It's so cute. I'm still close enough and I'm still watching his every move, I'm just not right next to him on the playground. I figure he needs to learn his limits and the only way he does that is when I'm not in his bubble. ANyway, here are a few pictures of him on the bench. I tried to get one of me and him but he wasn't in the mood for a picture. Oh well. :) Later that afternoon Sean and Owen and I went to visit my mom and Jairo and we went to downtown Vacaville for lunch and then to Andrew's Park (a park that's down there). Owen and Sean were having a lot of fun on the swings together.
Owen decided he wanted to try the swing that Sean was on. He had so much fun. All in all, our day was a lot of fun for Owen. He loves being outside and loves spending time with Sean and me even more. I am so glad we were able to have a fun and relaxing day with him. I hope we are able to still do these things even after Sean starts his new shifts.
